CERTIFICATES Senior Division and Senior Wing: Cadets recruited from colleges fall under Senior Division and are under the command of Associated NCC Officer (ANO)
C-Certificate is the highest recognition of training and qualification of a Senior NCC cadet
B-Certificate is the initial recognition of training and qualification of a Senior NCC cadet
NCC ACTIVITIES Focus is on instilling discipline in the souls of the cadets, besides fostering healthy competition for the ranks, while keeping the greater interest of the nation in mind to create prospective officers for the Armed Forces. The National Cadet Corps is the only organization of its kind, which imparts Leadership, Discipline, Integration, Adventure, Military, Physical and Community Development training to over 13 lakhs youth of the country.
BENEFITS OF NCC Various Incentives are provided by the central Government to Cadets with NCC ‘B’ & ‘C’ certificate holders for recruitment in the ranks in the Defense Forces. NCC Special Entry Scheme for SD Wings graduates in OTA in group 19-25 years with 50% marks, through DDG of states for direct interview (SSB) every year. Blood donation was organized on 4th September 2014. On poster painting competition, street play competitions were the other events organized by the NSS unit. About 300 students participated in the blood donation program. About 123 units of blood was collected.
Road safety week was organized on 14 Jan to 20 Jan. About 80 volunteers are participated. Distribution of prospects on road safety on road making aware about, helmet, seat belt, zebra crossing etc. Scrap books made on raod safety by volunteers, helmet rally, walkathon, eye check up for drivers street play, helmet painting, poster painting, health check up of driver.
rakhi stall, greeting card stalls where arranged by volunteers of sharan to sell the Rakhi made by paraplegics. Diwali stall diya selling about 15 students participated. Products were sold in Sainath education complex.
205 note book were made from unused papers collected from the students of college by takings class to class drive pages were binding and the book were distributed amongst the students from Sainath Hindi, English medium school having poor financial status.
On 27th Sept 2014 chief intercter was mr. Manoj Barde & Deepti Deshpandy self defence for boys & girls. Every sunday evening taking slef defence training 2 hrs. Studendts were trained some basic self defence technique and were prepare for present day woman exploitation.
zero waste campus programme was inograted by strimukti sanghatna mambers programme officer and principal dr. H. B. Gurav weekly 6 kgs of organic waste from college campus and vegitables market is been compost in peet and is recycled to make organic fertilizer.
