Women Development Cell (WDC)

The main objective of the Women Development Cell is to look into the grievances of the women, both staff members (teaching and non-teaching) as well as students and provide counseling and assistance to them. The Prime Role of Women Development Cell (WDC) of the College is to deal with cases of sexual harassment and moreover, implementation of the Women policy. In general, to promote the wellbeing of women around us, which will assist them in becoming better individuals and making the world a better place. Our college has a fully functional Women Development Cell.

  • WDC also conducts a Gender Sensitization workshop along with NSS volunteers.
  • Regular workshops for faculty as well as students are conducted on various issues like skit on status of women in society, preventing child abuse, women’s health issues etc. are also conducted. The WDC will give top priority to examining the complaints of Women regarding Sexual Harassment and suggest appropriate measure in that regard.
